Hyundai Motor Europe
Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy
The Brilliant Young Entrepreneurs Award helped us start our own company and be successful in the very challenging first stages of developing our company.
The lessons at my school had been of theoretical nature, whereas the work on the project was very practical. The Hyundai volunteers’ visits at our school gave us insights into the marketing business and we would like to thank Hyundai for their support.
After this program (Skills for the Future) I feel that I can be more than a mechanic if I look at the market with different eyes.
Hyundai Motor Europe has developed a Pan-European corporate social Responsibility (CSR) strategy aiming at bridging the skills gap between education and 21st century jobs. Through the ‘Skills for the Future’ and ‘Brilliant Young Entrepreneurs’ programmes Hyundai wants to inspire the next generation of innovators and business stars. Hyundai is investing €3 million in both programmes, designed to support young people across Europe and encourage the economic recovery of the region, which currently faces record levels of youth unemployment.
