Smart technology used wisely.

Simply adding a lot of technology to a car won’t make it safer. Rather, Santa Fe is designed to smartly minimize the dangers in our everyday driving environment to ensure safety. Santa Fe’s got your back.

Hyundai SmartSense
Santa Fe's Advanced Driver Assistance System considers the various conditions a driver might unexpectedly face on the journey.
  • Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC)

NSCC automatically slows down the vehicle when approaching curved sections, assisting in safe driving. It returns to its pre-set speed after passing these sections.

Some features illustrated on this page are not available in your market.

  • Lane Flowing Assist (LFA)

Should you drift out of the driving lane without signalling, LFA uses audio and visual cues to alert you to the danger. LFA’s camera uses machine vision to monitor the painted lane markings to ensure that the vehicle is driven between the lanes. When necessary, automatic steering correction is applied to keep you safely inside the lane.

  • Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

If there is a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle on the left or right side while reversing, it provides a warning. After the warning, if the risk of collision increases, it automatically assists with emergency braking.

Some features illustrated on this page are not available in your market.

  • Forward Collision-avoidance Assist (FCA)

If the preceding vehicle suddenly slows down, or if a forward collision risk is detected, such as a stopped vehicle or a pedestrian in front, it provides a warning. After the warning, if the risk of collision increases, it automatically assists with emergency braking. While driving, if there is a risk of collision with a cyclist, it automatically assists with emergency braking.
