With huge rallying success in his teenage years, Thierry made his debut in the WRC in 2009 at age 19. After finishing second overall in the 2013 season, Hyundai Motorsport signed Thierry for our debut season in 2014. Alongside co-driver Nicolas, he scored our team’s debut podium in Mexico 2014, as well as a memorable 1-2 Hyundai finish in Rallye Deutschland (ahead of Dani) – our maiden victory. Since then he has put together a string of very strong seasons, finishing as championship runner-up on four consecutive occasions from 2016-2019. He is now in his seventh season with Hyundai, entering the competition with 12 wins under his belt – and hungry for his own championship title.
