The online reservation tool allowed you to request the opportunity to order one of the 3,000 IONIQ 5 Project 45 vehicles, based on the given specifications and subject to the payment of the reservation fee and availability. The online reservation itself is not a direct order or purchase and does not commit you to purchase, but instead offered the exclusive right to order the car once the car arrives in the UK.

This Limited Edition has been exclusively reserved for 3,000 units in Europe.

It is no longer possible to reserve a Project 45 Limited Edition however please speak to your Hyundai dealer if you wish to reserve an IONIQ 5 from the rest of the range.

The IONIQ 5 will arrive in the UK in summer 2021 at which point you will be able to personally experience the car.

As this is a limited edition vehicle, it is only possible to reserve a single vehicle for each person or entity.

The online reservation for the IONIQ 5 Project 45 is for private individuals & corporate entities. Please note that re-sellers are excluded.

The IONIQ 5 Project 45 is not eligible for the Plug-In Car Grant.

Unfortunately, these incentives are specific to the UK and are only open to those with residence in the UK. We recommend checking with your local Hyundai dealer to see which incentives might be available for you.

Once your reservation request has been submitted we will contact you with further information. Please note all requests are subject to availability however if we are unable to allocate your request to an IONIQ 5 Project 45 then you will be given the option of transferring your request to another IONIQ 5 in the range. Please see the Reservation Terms and Conditions for details about the reservation process. 

Once you receive confirmation from the Hyundai Customer Contact Centre that we have successfully allocated your reservation request to an IONIQ 5 Project 45 you will then have a guaranteed reservation. In order to make your reservation a binding order you need to sign the contract with your selected Hyundai dealer.  Your dealer will contact you to arrange this once your car has arrived in the UK.

No, the reservation is specific to one individual only and not transferable.

Hyundai offers you several attractive benefits:

  1. Once you receive confirmation of your reservation from the Hyundai Customer Contact Centre, you obtain the right to order one of 3,000 IONIQ 5 Project 45 vehicles. Your car will be ready in summer 2021 and will be one of the first IONIQ 5 models to arrive in the UK
  2. The IONIQ 5 Project 45 offer is limited to 3,000 units across Europe, no further units will be made available once all units have been reserved
  3. The IONIQ 5 Project 45 comes with a unique combination of features and a dedicated emblem, wrapped into an attractive package. Additionally, you will receive an exclusive Ionity package including 2 years of free membership.

The recommended retail price of the IONIQ 5 Project 45 is £ 48,000.00.

Once you have submitted your reservation request for IONIQ 5 Project 45 we will be in touch with further information.  Please note that requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed however if we are unable to allocate your request to IONIQ 5 Project 45 then you will have the option of transferring your request to another IONIQ 5 in the range. If your request is confirmed then the Hyundai Customer Service Centre will contact you to arrange payment of your reservation fee and then maintain regular contact with you ahead of your car arriving in summer 2021.  They will then introduce you to your nominated dealer who will then go through the order confirmation process such as part exchange valuation, finance options, delivery and handover process.  If you choose not to proceed at this point your reservation will be cancelled and any reservation fee fully refunded.

The IONIQ 5 Project 45 will arrive in the UK in summer 2021. Of course we will provide you with more accurate timings as soon as possible. 

A reservation fee is a refundable payment that guarantees you the right to order one of the 3,000 IONIQ 5 Limited Edition vehicles. The reservation fee is £ 1,000 and once your reservation request has been confirmed by the Hyundai Customer Contact Centre then they will contact you to take paymentPlease see the Reservation Terms and Conditions for details about the reservation fee.

Payment for the online reservation is collected using the GlobalPay Platform using a credit or debit card.  Unfortunately we are unable to take cash payments. 

Once you have received confirmation of your reservation request from the Hyundai Customer Contact Centre you will be required to pay a reservation fee via the GlobalPay platform.  Once your car arrives in the UK you will be invited by your selected dealer to finalise your order and contract.

No, there are no additional fees.

As long as you have not concluded a purchase contract with your selected dealer, your online reservation can be cancelled at any time and is 100% refundable.

After your reservation has been confirmed, it is not possible to change the specification of your IONIQ 5 Project 45. Should you wish to change your specification, you will have to cancel your existing reservation and proceed with a new reservation. Please be aware that due to the high demand for this model, cancelling your reservation may result in losing your allocation for the IONIQ 5 Project 45. 

If you change your mind, you can still cancel from this reservation and receive your paid reservation fee back.

Your Hyundai dealer will contact you as soon as your car arrives in the UK. You will then have to sign your contract within two weeks at the dealership otherwise your reservation will be cancelled. Your reservation fee will of course be refunded.

The online reservation itself is not a direct order or purchase, but instead offers you the exclusive right to purchase the car later.  The online reservation is not binding and can be cancelled.

Your selected Hyundai dealer will contact you as soon as the ordering process starts in order to help you convert the reservation into an order and discuss financing options. Your selected dealer will inform you in detail about the financing and payment options available to you. 

Your dealer will discuss trade-in options with you once your car has arrived in the UK.
