Hyundai Motor aims for 52 percent market share on home turf
Hyundai Motor Company held its bi-annual `1H Sales Promotion Conference’ from Jan. 14 to 15 at Jeju Island. Through the sales enhancement program, participants vowed to increase sales by providing the best service possible to customers.
The conference was attended by over 600 executives and employees, including Vice Chairman Chung Euisun and President Steve S. Yang from the Global Business Division; Shin Young-Dong, head of the Domestic Sales Division, and branch managers and personnel from the Service and Vehicle Release Centers. HMC announced various awards for the regional offices and branches, while the Domestic Sales Division gave a presentation on its business plans for 2010. Hyundai will target a 52 percent market share this year in Korea.
