Hyundai rolls out free vehicle health checks for all during 2010 World CupTM


 

Offenbach, June 14 2010

 

Hyundai is offering all European motorists a free vehicle health check for the duration of the FIFA 2010 World Cup South AfricaTM.  Visiting 28 major cities in 10 countries during the tournament, the Hyundai World Cup ‘Before Service’ Tour will invite Hyundai and non-Hyundai car owners to bring their vehicles for a multi-point inspection while also offering test drives of new Hyundai cars.

 

The tour will take in major cities around Europe, including those hosting Hyundai Fan Parks.

 

The World Cup offer is an extension of Hyundai’s pan-European ‘Before Service’ customer satisfaction program, which encourages Hyundai owners to visit the brand’s dealer network for a free seasonal vehicle inspection and new car test drive.  Hyundai expects to welcome one million customers to its European network in 2010 through the program, with over 400.000 having already visited showrooms so far this year.

 

Hyundai is targeting customer satisfaction leadership in Europe by 2015, and the World Cup ‘Before Service’ initiative joins an already-impressive collection of customer care programs offered by the company.  Leading the way is the comprehensive Five Year Triple Care scheme which provides European consumers with an outstanding customer care package, comprising a five-year, bumper-to-bumper unlimited mileage warranty; five years’ roadside assistance; and a five-year vehicle health-check plan.  Currently available on the new i30 and ix35 compact SUV, the package gives a competitive edge to both models in terms of customer lifecycle care.
