Safe Move in Russia- Providing Customized Bus and Classes for Russian Children

Children even in Russia can now take classes on the customized Hyundai bus on traffic safety. On Thursday, August 12, Hyundai delivered its Safe Move Bus at a ceremony held in the Children’s Summer Camp in Orlenok, not far from Moscow, attended by Director Victor Kirianov of the Russian Federal Traffic Police Service and a host of other Russian governmental officials and members of HMCIS in Russia.

The Safe Move Bus is equipped with audiovisual learning equipment, safety belts, a camera for the driver and a smoke detector. The bus provides convenient locations for traffic safety classes to be held at any kindergarten or elementary school, providing children with traf?c safety video clips and lessons on how to fasten the seat belts, get on and off cars, cross the roads, and escape ?res.

Hyundai has concentrated its seven years of experience and expertise on developing a customized bus that will cater to the specific needs of Russians. The newly developed traffic safety material was also delivered and taught to the local traffic safety instructors. Kirianov said of the event: “The Russian government and police agency are currently doing their best to improve children’s safety on roads and in cars.” A Hyundai spokesperson said: “The SafeMove Bus that Hyundai delivered this time is significant in that it marks the first time Hyundai exported its social commitment program overseas.”
