Closing of the Shareholders’ List

For the purpose of holding the 39th General Shareholder’s Meeting, we announce our intentions of suspending any changes in title transfer of stocks, registration and cancellation of the right of pledge, indication and cancellation of assets in trusts, etc. in the shareholder’s list during the period from 1 January 2007 until 31 January 2007. Hence, those holding the shares of Hyundai Motor Company should complete all necessary procedures before the aforementioned period. The effective date is 31 December, 2006.
