UEFA EURO Sponsorship Overview

UEFA EURO 2012™ With Hyundai

Hyundai uses the sponsorship to reassure its position as an automotive company that represents football marketing. Hyundai has been a long-standing partner of UEFA since UEFA EURO 2000™ in Belgium/Netherlands, and delivered the fleet of vehicles for the previous UEFA European Championships as well as the UEFA EURO 2004™ and UEFA EURO 2008™. Hyundai will continue its partnership as a UEFA Euro top partner, the top-tier sponsor, until 2017, ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of players, officials and guests to and around the various venues.

The Union des Associations Européennes de Football (UEFA) was founded in Basle, Switzerland, on 15 June 1954, bringing to fruition the pioneering vision of a handful of key football administrators of the time. Since then, the parent body of European football - one of six continental confederations of world football's governing body FIFA - has grown into the cornerstone of the game on this continent, working with and acting on behalf of Europe's national football associations and other stakeholders in the game to promote football and strengthen its position as arguably the most popular sport in the world.
