Powered by a 110.3 kWh battery, IONIQ 9 is available in 3 powertrain variations. The Long-Range RWD model is equipped with a 160 kW rear motor, the Long-Range AWD model with a 66 kW front motor and 160 kW rear motor. The Performance AWD version is powered by 157 kW motors front and rear.

    Up to 385 miles driving range.

    IONIQ 9 is expected to achieve an outstanding all-electric range of up to 385 miles in the Long-Range battery version with rear wheel drive and 19" or 20" wheels. (WLTP) 2

    Aerodynamic design

    IONIQ 9 delivers a super-low drag coefficient of 0.259 Cd when equipped with Digital Side Mirrors – which lowers energy consumption, helping you go farther on a single charge.

    Up to 2,500 kg towing capability.

    Take your toys with you. IONIQ 9 can tow up to 2,500 kg. And in trailer mode, it automatically detects the trailer's weight and adjusts predicted range accordingly.

    Regenerative braking.

    You can adjust the level of regenerative braking with the paddle shifters. The higher the level, the more the car slows and charges the battery when you take your foot off the accelerator.

    Always in control. From city streets to off-road paths, the Terrain Traction Control System and AI-powered Auto Terrain Mode automatically adapt to any surface for optimal performance.

      Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): charge it all with your car.
