  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)

Front-mounted radar and camera systems scan the road ahead for preceding vehicles and crossing pedestrians. AEB automatically initiates emergency braking to minimize the chances of a serious crash, or reduce its consequences. The standard AEB responds to the presence of a preceding vehicle via the front camera, optionally available with radar, which adds the ability to detect the presence of pedestrians.

  • Adaptive Smart Cruise Control (ASCC)

Maintains a set distance to the preceding vehicle, automatically reducing or increasing speed up to a pre-set limit. In “stop & go” traffic, the pre-determined distance is maintained by ASCC after coming to a standstill, automatically restarting the motor when forward movement ahead is detected.

  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)

When reverse gear is selected, Rear Cross Traffic Alert helps identify and warn the driver of vehicles approaching from the side.

  • Blind Spot Detection (BSD)

Sensors mounted in the rear bumper detect the proximity of any vehicle obscured in the blind spot and trigger a warning light in the relevant door mirror. An acoustic signal immediately sounds if a turn signal is activated when a vehicle is detected in the blind spot.

  • Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)

HAC automatically holds the brakes to prevent the car from rolling back when starting from a hill. Options might differ by regions.
