Born on the track – The blistering performance of the All-New i30 N is powered by a newly developed 2.0-litre turbo charged engine.

2.0 T-GDi (250PS) gasoline engine

This newly developed four-cylinder a 2.0-litre direct injection turbo engine delivers high responsiveness and a rich torque curve supported by an over boost function that temporarily increases torque by 8%. i30 N features front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission with stronger gears, a carbon synchronizer ring, and a strong clutch. These enhanced inner parts are built to cope with the high-performance Ns higher engine power. Short shift travel helps with fast shifting so you can always feel the feeling.

N Traction and stability control.

Developed in-house, the N Traction and Stability Control is like a good co-pilot, helping when necessary but otherwise being quiet, never disturbing your driving fun and making you go even faster. If desired, it can be switched off completely for maximum racetrack feeling.
N Corner carving differential

High-performance cornering capabilities for maximum fun – The i30 N is a corner rascal, with features like the N Corner Carving Differential (Electronically Controlled Limited Slip Differential). Specifically designed and engineered by Hyundai to provide a unique carving feeling through even the most challenging corners, this differential maintains maximum fun and stability throughout braking, and when entering and exiting corners. It allows driven wheels to turn at different speeds by applying different amounts of torque to them, reducing wheel slip in and minimising understeering in corners.
Active variable exhaust system

Pump up the volume. The Variable Exhaust Valve lets you select different levels of exhaust sound – relatively retrained in Normal mode, to more engaged in Sport mode, to the crackling “after-burn” growl in N mode with added fuel detonations, like a rally car in fast upshifts.

N Grin control system

Enjoy more smiles per kilometre. At the push of a button, the N Grin Control System gives you the
choice of five distinct drive modes to match your mood: Eco, Normal, Sport, N and N Custom. The
different modes change the character of the car, adjusting the parameters of the engine, the dampers,
Electronic Stability Control (ESC), N Carving System, engine sound, steering and Rev matching.

Launch control

The Launch control system gives you maximum traction for the fastest possible launch. It controls the vehicle to reduce wheel spin or slip on a hard acceleration from a standing start, helping to launch the car like a professional race driver.
Rev-matching

Hit the steering wheel button, to enjoy the fastest, smoothest downshifts whether you're on a circuit or a challenging alpine road. Rev-matching synchronizes engine speed to the input shaft speed for the next gear during the shift process, reducing wear and enhancing durability.
