24-Hour Roadside Assistance Service

Hyundai provides customers with the highest level of confidence through the Hyundai Roadside Assistance service, available 24 hours a day, covering 5 years from the date of vehicle delivery, with no mileage limitation. This service ensures support in case of roadside emergencies, wherever you are, so that every journey is filled with peace of mind.

Services Covered

1. 24-Hour Technical Consultation
If your vehicle encounters engine problems, warning lights malfunction, or unexpected incidents on the road, customers can contact the Hyundai Roadside Assistance at any time, on any days, including public holidays, to receive immediate advice from expert staff. They will help assess the issue and suggest appropriate preliminary solutions before the vehicle is taken to a Hyundai Service Center.

2. Unlimited Roadside Assistance
In case the vehicle cannot be used normally (e.g., failure to start or a depleted battery), the roadside assistance team will provide on-site support, with no limit on the number of times. Customers can rest assured that every situation will receive timely assistance until the vehicle is safe to continue the journey.

3. Towing Service
If the vehicle cannot be driven, Hyundai provides towing to the nearest authorized Hyundai Service Center with conditions as follows:
   a. Free towing with no distance limit for models: PALISADE, IONIQ 5, IONIQ 5N Line, IONIQ 5N, IONIQ 6, ELANTRA N and SANTA FE
   b. Free towing within 30 kilometers for models: H-1, STARIA, CRETA, STARGAZER, The all-new SANTA FE (beyond 30 kilometers, an additional charge of 25 THB per kilometer will apply).

4. Assistance for Locked-in Keys
If keys are locked inside the car, Hyundai provides the following support:
   • If the spare key is located within 15 kilometers, staff will retrieve and deliver it to the customer’s location free of charge.
   • Beyond 15 kilometers, a fee of 25 THB per kilometer will apply.
   • Should locksmith services be required, the cost will not be covered and are the customer’s responsibility. Hyundai staff will provide an estimated cost for approval before service.

5. Emergency Fuel Supply
If the vehicle runs out of fuel, Hyundai will provide up to 10 liters of fuel free of charge to allow continued travel to the nearest gas station. This service is available once per year. Subsequent requests within 12 months (from the most recent service usage) will still be supported, however the customer shall be responsible for fuel costs.

6. Rental Car Arrangement (Replacement Vehicle)
In cases where the customer’s vehicle must be towed and cannot be used, Hyundai may assist in arranging a rental vehicle through a rental company. The customer is responsible for the rental cost and must comply with the rental company’s conditions.

Service Terms and Conditions

1. This service does not cover any type of accident.

2. Service applies only to vehicles legally registered and used appropriately.

3. Coverage applies only to vehicles that encounter problems in accessible public areas (e.g., public roads, highways, parking areas). Hyundai reserves the right to decline service in restricted or inaccessible areas (e.g., closed roads, construction zones, racetracks, private roads without permission).

4. The 24-hour assistance covers only initial roadside support; it does not include costs for replacement parts, batteries, spare tires, consumables, or other maintenance services.

5. Service does not cover incidents resulting from natural disasters, inaccessible road conditions, unsafe or high-risk areas (e.g., disasters, protests, political unrest, or force majeure) that may endanger service personnel.

6. If service requires more than two staff members or more than two service vehicles, additional costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

7. Towing service is provided only if the vehicle cannot be started or cannot be safely driven under traffic regulations.

⚠️ Service Exclusions

Roadside Assistance does not cover the following:

1. Any fees, costs, damages, or services not pre-approved in writing by Hyundai.

2. Costs normally borne by customers (e.g., fuel, gas, lubricants, toll fees), except for emergency fuel supply service stated above.

3. Costs or damages arising from racing, rallying, or speed/time trials.

4. Costs related to vehicles registered as commercial vehicles (e.g., taxis, limousines, cargo transport).

5. Costs or damages resulting from vehicles not properly maintained in safe operating condition or deemed unsafe for road use.

6. Incidents occurring while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

7. Costs or damages arising directly or indirectly from vehicle immobilization.

8. Additional towing charges for modified vehicles requiring special procedures or equipment.

9. Toll fees, ferry charges, or bridge fees incurred during the service.
