Hyundai Motor Company continues to advance Europe's EV mobility journey to become a market and innovation leader. At the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, we showcased our electrification strategy for Europe with a full EV lineup and exhibition content that highlighted each model’s key features. IAA also served as a stage for the debut of a new all-electric concept car, Concept THREE.

The perfect stage for a unique EV experience

As a major event in the global automotive industry, IAA offers a comprehensive series of immersive formats, each providing a unique experience and perspective on mobility trends and innovations. This year, Hyundai ventured into the IAA Open Space, inviting the public to directly experience and interact with its EV lineup up close in an engaging and festive way.

Concept THREE steps into the spotlight

One special model made its standout debut – Concept THREE. Conceived as a compact EV and a vision for urban mobility, Concept THREE fascinated visitors with its bold, aesthetic forms while providing a tantalizing glimpse into the future.

Exhibited alongside Concept THREE was a special sculpture titled 'The Essence' whose captivating form drew visitors closer. Inspired by Concept THREE's exterior, 'The Essence' expresses the beauty, strength, and infinite formability of steel, as well as Hyundai’s vision for the material.

Another exhibit called 'Furnished Lounge' displayed how aesthetics, intuitive design, and technology come together for a truly unique experience. With its hard-shell structure and curved upholstery, 'Furnished Lounge' reflects the inspiration behind the concept's seat and console composition.

Completing the experience, the 'Hyundai AddGear' display — showcasing the solution for flexible item mounting in the vehicle — lets visitors experience modular in-car accessories firsthand.

Along with Concept THREE, one additional concept car and five production models lined up to greet visitors.

INSTEROID, a design concept car derived from INSTER, radiated an exceptionally exciting energy among the vehicles. With its blend of racing DNA, gaming influences and customization, visitors got a look into what the future of fun, sustainable mobility could be.

Another INSTER model highlight was the INSTER Cross, which won the prestigious ‘2025 World Electric Vehicle of the Year’ title at the World Car Awards. Conceived as a rugged, adventure-themed version of the standard INSTER, the INSTER Cross showcased its unique features, including a roof basket and striking wheel cladding.
