2021 ~
IONIQ 5 is Hyundai’s first battery electric vehicle (BEV) model to utilize the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
This BEV-dedicated platform houses a flat battery that enables a spacious and customizable interior, offering
personalized mobility with flexible configurations to comfortably accommodate passengers and cargo.
The IONIQ 5 was triple-crowned in 2022 World Car Awards, such as the World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle of the Year
and World Car Design of the Year, changing the world’s view on electric vehicles. It is designed with many improvements that
will drive us into a new era of safe, efficient, and high-performanced electric vehicles.
