SEOUL, October 15, 2025 – Hyundai Motor Company has achieved a record brand valuation of $24.6 billion and ranked 30th in the 2025 Interbrand Best Global Brands Rankings. This marks 16 years of consecutive growth in brand value since 2010 and a 72 percent increase over the past five years. The company has been listed among the top 30 global brands for the second year in a row.


Hyundai Motor’s rise in the rankings reflects its strong financial performance, strategic global expansion and continued investment in innovation. In 2024, the company posted record revenue, reached a major production milestone and completed a landmark IPO. Hyundai also advanced its leadership in electric mobility and safety, while strengthening its brand presence through award-winning campaigns and global sponsorships. These efforts contributed to higher brand influence and growth potential.

  • Record-Breaking Revenue: Hyundai Motor achieved record-high sales revenue of KRW 175.2 trillion in 2024, marking five consecutive years of growth since 2020. The company also maintained a robust operating profit margin of 8.1 percent.
  • 100 Million Vehicles Milestone: The company reached a cumulative production milestone of 100 million vehicles in 2024 — one of the fastest automakers to achieve this in its 57-year history.
  • Landmark IPO in India: Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company, completed the largest-ever listing in Indian stock exchange history in 2024.
  • Strategic U.S. Investments: The company strengthened its presence in North America by expanding its investments in the region.

  • Safety Leadership: As of October 2025, seven Hyundai models earned the 2025 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+1) (TSP+) rating from the IIHS crash tests, underscoring the company’s commitment to passenger safety. Award applies to US models.
  • Meeting Diverse Customer Needs: Hyundai Motor expanded its electrified lineup by launching IONIQ 9 and the all-new NEXO fuel cell electric vehicle, offering consumers more options.
  • Bridging the EV Adoption Gap: Hyundai Motor drove hybrid vehicle sales growth, emphasizing their importance in addressing early-stage EV adoption challenges.
  • To qualify for 2025 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+, a vehicle must earn good ratings in the small overlap front, updated moderate overlap front and updated side tests. It also must earn an acceptable or good rating for pedestrian front crash prevention and come with standard acceptable- or good-rated headlights (www.iihs.org).
