SEOUL, February 26, 2026 – Hyundai Motor Company’s all-new ELEXIO electric midsize SUV has achieved a maximum five-star safety rating1) from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP).
ANCAP conducts its independent assessment under testing protocols aligned with the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) standards, widely regarded as among the most rigorous and comprehensive safety evaluation frameworks in the industry.
Under ANCAP’s 2023-2025 assessment criteria, ELEXIO demonstrated a high level of protection for adult and child occupants, as well as strong performance in safeguarding vulnerable road users.
