Hyundai Motor Group Promotes Busan, South Korea’s Bid to Host World Expo 2030 at World Economic Forum
On August 20, HMC delivered 43 Avantes LPi Hybrid, 20 Grand Starexes, 10 Grandeurs, and 1 Genesis to Tour de Korea at the Jeonnam Muan Airport Parking Lot to celebrate the successful launching and operation of the 2010 Tour de Korea Internaitonal Cycling Race.
The Tour de Korea, which celebrates its fourth anniversary this year, will take place over the eleven days from August 22 through September 2, from Jeju to Seoul, drawing participation from 11,000 or more people. It is the largest international cycling race to be held in Korea. The main protocol vehicles to be used at the event, Avante LPi Hybrid, matches the official slogan of Tour de Korea, which is: “An Environment-Friendly Cycling Race across the Beautiful Country of Korea.” The environmentfriendly vehicles will help advertise Korea’s latest environment-friendly auto technology.
