Hyundai Motor India Foundation Launches CSR 2011

July 20th,: Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited, today further reiterated its commitment to Tamil Nadu by launching fresh initiatives. HMIF launched two new programs Project Go Green and Adoption of Model Villages. These two programs are the latest addition to other ongoing projects such as community development, road safety, education and healthcare.

On the occasion, HMIF also welcomed the 7th batch of 120 Korean Happy Move volunteers, who will be working on upgrading living and sanitation conditions of villages and schools in the various districts of Tamil Nadu.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R. Sethuraman, Trustee HMIF said, We at Hyundai Motor India Foundation remain committed to developing the community around us. Every year we add fresh initiatives to our already long list of existing projects while continuing to nurture and expand them. The budgets for these projects are generated through the sale of our cars. Going forward we shall be engaging our customers as well to be part of these efforts.
