August 7, 2013 Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter today showcased the stylish family car - Grand i10 for Indian market.
 
The Grand i10 is a completely new car and is developed on a new platform with a strong character showcasing Hyundai “Modern Premium” brand direction.  The Grand i10 has been positioned above the existing i10 and is targeted at the emerging compact high entry segment. Grand i10 symbolizes Hyundai Motor’s commitment to Indian customers by offering high standards of quality, durability and reliability.
 
Using stylish lines found in nature, Grand i10 embodies Hyundai Motor’s ‘fluidic sculpture’ design philosophy and has been engineered to deliver more space, impeccable style and premium interiors focused on Indian customers’ requirements.
 
The advanced hatchback will offer the customers with cutting edge technology, refined ride qualities, a quiet cabin and premium features such as Rear AC vent found in larger cars.
 
Built on a completely new platform offering a longer wheelbase, Grand i10 will deliver refined driving dynamics with low noise levels. The car has been designed keeping in mind the aspirations of Indian families who look for enhanced space, style and high fuel efficiency.
 
Grand i10 will come with two engine variants - 1.1 litre U2 diesel and 1.2 litre Kappa petrol, offering a combination of optimum performance with best in class fuel efficiency. The diesel engine on Grand i10 is the Advanced 2nd Generation U2 diesel engine which offers a great combination of performance and fuel efficiency.
