Hyundai Motor Starts Receiving Votes For Its “Be There With Hyundai” FIFA World Cup™ Program
- Fans submitted over 160,000 national team slogans through ‘Be There with Hyundai’ program - Voting closes on May 7, while winners will be announced on May 12 - Winning slogans will be displayed on the national team buses during the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™
April 24, 2014 – With 50 days left until the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, Hyundai Motor Company, the official automotive partner of the tournament, announced that voting has begun to select the best team slogans submitted to its “Be There With Hyundai (BTWH)” program, through the FIFA.com website.
Fans from all over the world submitted slogans for the participating national teams at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ from October 17, 2013 to February 27, 2014 through the FIFA.com website and more than 160,000 slogans were collected during that time. The list was trimmed to 96 slogans, or the best three per team.
Worldwide football fans can now vote for their favorite slogans to represent each national team until May 7. The winning slogans will be announced on May 12 and will be displayed on the national team buses that transport the players during the tournament.
Since its launch at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™, BTWH turned out to be a successful marketing program of the event, sparking huge media interest. The automaker’s exclusive program continued its success at the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ South Africa, with the active participation of thousands of football fans all over the world.

Hyundai Motor plans to offer a variety of prizes for participants whose slogans are chosen as the winners. While all 32 winners (for each qualified team) will be given specially-made photos of their slogan displayed on the respective buses, one lucky winner will be chosen to receive a 2014 FIFA World Cup™ tour package, including tickets, airfare and hotel to a round of 16 match.
