HMC held a gala and gol?ng event for select Equus users at the Haevichi Country Club in Jeju from November 27 through November 28. Celebrating its eighth anniversary, this year’s amateur golf event attracted 120 Equus users in total. The participants’ fees and the proceeds from auctioning professional golfers’ donated goods were donated to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
Famous comedian Lee Hong-nyeol hosted the event as the MC. Professor Seo Aram of Hoseo University was invited to provide golf lessons for amateurs. In a competition held on the second day, 30 teams of four each competed against one another in golfing. The winners took home various trophies and other gifts. The first day of the event involved auctions of goods donated by renowned professional golfers, including Choi Gyeong-ju, Yang Yong-eun, and Kim Gyeong-tae. A spokesperson for the company said: “The Equus Users Amateur Golf Competition is by far Korea’s most renowned amateur golf event, and enhances the satisfaction and pride of Equus users every year.”
