            FAQ.

Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (HFCVs) work by converting hydrogen gas into electricity to power an electric motor. Hydrogen stored in NEXO's three tanks is supplied to the fuel cell stack. The reaction of air and hydrogen in the fuel cell stack generates electricity and water. Generated electricity is supplied to the electric motor. The water created in the reaction is emitted – the NEXO’s only tailpipe emission.

The all-new NEXO targets provides up to 700 km driving range with just a 5-minute charge and is engineered to achieve a 5-star NCAP safety rating.
Hydrogen is a versatile, clean, and safe energy carrier. Generating zero emissions at point of use, it can be produced from renewable electricity and from carbon-abated fossil fuels (green hydrogen), thereby achieving completely zero-emission pathways.
Hydrogen can be produced through various processes: thermochemical methods use heat and chemical reactions to extract hydrogen from organic materials such as fossil fuels and biomass – or even from water. Electrolysis is another method, where water (H₂O) is split into hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) using electrical energy. Solar-driven processes can also be used to split water using sunlight. Additionally, biological processes involving microorganisms like bacteria and algae can generate hydrogen.
