Futuristic exterior.
The NEXO is a bold step towards a better future. We’ve styled the exterior to reflect this, making it as streamlined and sublimely futuristic as possible.
Exterior
Designed for beauty – but created for efficiency.
The sleek elegance of the NEXO's exterior has been carefully optimised and includes multiple aerodynamic features to create the best fuel economy possible. Improving upon the acclaimed ix35 Fuel Cell, the NEXO's overall drag coefficient has been reduced even further from 0.350 to 0.329.

Wide sunroof.
Let the sun in and enjoy a bit of breeze in your hair. The NEXO is available with a sunroof that tilts and slides out for maximum openness.

Wheel air curtain intake.
Designed to improve aerodynamics, the sporty wheel air curtain intakes look great and optimise the airflow over the wheels and side. -
Cascading Grille.
In the front, Hyundai’s signature Cascading Grille has been reimagined to harmonise seamlessly with the NEXO's composite light form and twin headlight design. -
Alloy wheels.
The stylish 17” and 19” alloy wheels created exclusively for the NEXO have been aerodynamically optimised to let air pass smoothly over the wheel’s surface while also cooling the brakes. -
Composite LED headlamp.
Truly unique, the gently arching LED Horizon Position Light stretches across the entire front, flowing elegantly into the LED Daytime Running Lights on both sides. -
Full LED rear combination lamps.
The LED rear combination lamps feature a gleaming inner lens finish for a premium touch. They artfully combine the brake lamps, tail lamps and turn signals for great looks and top visibility.
Interior
An interior inspired by you.
The NEXO's stylish and highly functional interior has been crafted to ensure everything is at your fingertips and within your line of sight. This includes a bridge-type centre console that allows you to comfortably, and safely adjust any setting to your liking, without having to take your eyes off the road.

Steering wheel.
The steering wheel features ergonomically positioned controls to operate the car systems while driving safely. Dedicated paddle shifters allow you to control the level of regenerative breaking. -
Shift by-wire buttons.
Switch between drive, neutral, reverse and park by simply using the buttons conveniently located within the centre console. The electric parking brake can be found here as well. -
Reimagined centre console storage.
Thanks to the NEXO's electric motor, the traditional shifter is replaced by drive-by-wire buttons. The space saved has been utilised for a practical stowage area and mobile device charging. -
Cluster.
The brilliant 7” LCD full digital information cluster presents important driving information. Next to range and trip information, it lets you see how your driving style influences fuel consumption. -
Eco materials.
On the material side, every touch surface in the NEXO are UL certified bio-materials, from the bamboo-based headliner, plastics, trim, soft skin and floor mats.
