Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 (FCA 2)

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 (FCA 2) monitors your surroundings and warns you if there is a risk of collision. After the warning, it assists with emergency braking if the risk of collision increases – with an oncoming vehicle or motorcyclist while turning left at an intersection, with an oncoming vehicle from the left, right or the opposite side. It assists with avoidance steering if there is a risk of collision with an oncoming/preceding/rear side vehicle or motorcyclist in the next lane-when changing lanes, and a vehicle/motorcyclist/pedestrian/cyclist partially in the vehicle’s intended path while driving.

Lane Following Assist 2 (LFA 2)

Lane Following Assist 2 (LFA 2) helps center the vehicle in the lane. The control performance has been improved. Also, by additionally applying a direct Hands-On Detection (HOD) Sensor the performance to determine whether the driver is holding the steering wheel has been improved.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) warns you if there is a risk of collision with a rear side vehicle in the blind-spot while changing lanes. When forward exiting a parallel-parking spot, if there is a risk of collision with a vehicle approaching from behind, it automatically assists with emergency braking.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC)

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) helps maintain distance from the front vehicle and drive at a speed set by the driver. Automatically stops when the front vehicle stops and automatically starts when the front vehicle departs within a short time. When SCC is activated, it drives automatically, reflecting the learned driving style. When SCC is inactive (Off/Standby), it learns the driver’s driving style (inter-vehicle distance, acceleration, and reaction speed).

Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)

If driving above a certain speed and the driver leaves a lane without the turn signal switch being operated, it provides a warning. When a lane departure is detected, it automatically assists with steering to help prevent leaving the lane.

Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA)

Forward/Side/Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA) provides a warning and assists with emergency braking if there is a risk of collision with a rear object while reversing.

Forward/Side/Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW)

Forward/Side/Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW) warns against collisions with objects around the vehicle at low speeds.

Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2)

Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2) helps remotely park or exit a parking spot. It automatically assists with steering, accelerating, decelerating, and shifting using the vehicle’s sensors. It automatically assists with braking when an object is detected in the vehicle’s path. The driver can perform ‘Remote Operation’ using the smart key when the driver is outside the vehicle.
