Hyundai Smart Sense

  • 1. Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC)

    NSCC helps to drive at a safe speed on highways, in anticipation of a safety speed zone, curve, and highway exits or entrances based on the navigation system.

  • 2. Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2)

    Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA 2) helps remotely park or exit a parking spot. It automatically assists with steering, accelerating, decelerating, and shifting using the vehicle’s sensors. It automatically assists with braking when an object is detected in the vehicle’s path. The driver can perform ‘Remote Operation’ using the smart key when the driver is outside the vehicle.

  • 3. Safe Exit Warning (SEW)

    Automatically warns if the risk of collision with vehicles in the blind-spot when an occupant opens the door to get out of the vehicle after stopping is detected.

  • 4. Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)

    LKA prevents unintended lane departure by monitoring the lines of the road with the front camera. While driving above a certain speed limit, the driver is automatically guided back into the lane.

  • 5. Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA)

    PCA warns you if there is a risk of collision with a rear object when reversing. Brakes are automatically applied when the collision becomes imminent.

  • 6. Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

    Keeps door locked and warns if the risk of collision with a vehicle in or approaching the blind-spot is detected when the car is stopped and the electronic child lock button is pressed to allow rear passengers to get out.

  • 7. Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2)

    HDA 2 helps maintain a set distance and speed from the vehicle ahead and assists with lane changes while driving on a highway/motorway main section and helps center the vehicle in the lane while driving.

  • 8. Driver Attention Warning (DAW)

    DAW analyzes the driver’s attention level and provides a warning while driving. The driver’s attention level is displayed in 5 scaled levels. When the level of attention becomes lower than “Low” (level 1), a break is recommended. Provides an alert to the driver when the leading vehicle departs during a stop.

  • 9. Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)

    BCA helps detect rear side vehicles in blind-spots. Warnings go off to prevent risk of collisions while changing lanes or exiting parallel parking spots.

  • 10. Lane Following Assist (LFA)

    LFA helps center the vehicle in the lane while driving. The front view camera recognizes lanes to help with steering. If the lane is not recognized, the feature recognizes the vehicle ahead and helps with steering for a certain period of time.

  • 11. Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

    Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist detects vehicles approaching from the rear left or right whilst your vehicle is reversing and warns you of a possible collision with a warning message and a warning sound.
