Business Hyundai’s IONIQ 6 Named Finalist for North American Car of the Year

Fifty journalists from the U.S. and Canada make up the NACTOY jury, representing dozens of leading automotive outlets from print, online, and broadcast media. Jurors are required to evaluate all eligible new vehicles over the course of the year.
The IONIQ 6 has received numerous accolades since its debut, including 2023 World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle, and World Car Design of the Year, as well as Car and Driver’s EV of the Year. In addition, Consumer Reports named IONIQ 6 the highest-rated EV car and its all-electric powertrain has been recognized as having one of the 2023 Wards 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems.

The IONIQ 6 is equipped with the latest technology and best-in-class ultra-fast 800-volt/350kW charging capability that can charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 18 minutes using a 350kW DC charger. Hyundai recently announced 2024 model year pricing, and IONIQ 6 is launching with a repackaged SE Standard Range model carrying an MSRP starting at $37,5002). The top-of-the-line Limited AWD with the larger battery pack has an MSRP starting at $53,6503).
