As part of our commitment to delivering excellent customer service and innovative mobility solutions, we’ve expanded our Bluelink Connected Car Services offering.
With the recent launch of the new Bluelink Store - accessible via the app - two new Bluelink packages, PRO and PLUS, are now available. A third option, LITE, is only available for new vehicles and included free for 10 years.
These packages let you choose the level of connectivity that best suits your driving needs and are available with our latest models - giving you greater flexibility and control over your connected driving experience.

Important Note
Purchasing a Bluelink package- such as PRO or PLUS - does not unlock features that are hardware- or model-dependent.
For example: If Music Streaming or Hyundai Digital Key isn’t available during your PRO trial, buying Bluelink PRO won’t enable it.
Bluelink packages only activate the features your vehicle is already equipped to support.
New features may become available over time through software or vehicle updates, if your model is compatible.
At present, Bluelink LITE is only available on vehicles that include a 10-year free period by default.
It cannot currently be purchased separately through the Bluelink Store.

Pre-2024 models.
- All models before 2024 that are OTA update capable. These models will have access to both Bluelink PRO and PLUS package.

If your complimentary Bluelink period expires, your vehicle’s connected services will be deactivated. This also triggers a reset of the infotainment system to factory settings, meaning your preferred settings — including saved Bluetooth devices — will be removed.
* Model year 2024 usually means production date from mid 2023 until mid 2024. Ask your Hyundai partner about further details for specific vehicles.
Note: IONIQ 6, IONIQ 5 N and all new KONA, that have 3 years Bluelink free period for PRO, have 10 years Bluelink LITE complimentary period.
These models were launched before 2022 and are not OTA capable, therefore will only have access to Bluelink PLUS package.

Expiry & Deactivation
What happens when the free trial of Bluelink free trial expires?
Once your Bluelink free trial expires - 3, 5 or 10 years depending on date of purchase, Bluelink will be deactivated in your vehicle.
For those who have a complimentary six months of Bluelink PRO, their vehicle will default to Bluelink LITE following the trial.
When your vehicle is deactivated:
- Bluelink settings are reset to factory defaults
- the vehicle is removed from the myHyundai app
- the Bluelink Store becomes inaccessible via myHyundai app, as a vehicle must be registered to the app for use
How to Regain access to Bluelink? Use new myHyundai app!
With the new myHyundai app, you can manage your Bluelink subscription directly. The app is already available in app stores and will gradually replace the myHyundai app.
You can also access the Bluelink Store through the app, even if your vehicle has been deactivated. Just download the app, log in with your existing Bluelink credentials, add your vehicle, and when you try to activate Bluelink, you’ll be guided to complete your subscription purchase.
