Business Hyundai Motor Group Donates USD 1 Million to Support Venezuela Earthquake Recovery
SEOUL, July 2, 2026 – Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) announced a USD 1 million donation to support relief and recovery efforts in Venezuela following the recent earthquake that caused significant damage across affected regions.
The donation will be made through the Republic of Korea National Red Cross (KNRC) and channeled through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Emergency Appeal in support of the Venezuelan Red Cross (VRC)'s emergency relief operations and recovery activities for communities affected by the disaster.
As a member of the global community, Hyundai Motor Group has continued to support humanitarian relief efforts in response to major natural disasters around the world. Recent contributions include aid for the California wildfires in the United States in 2025, the Morocco earthquake and Libya floods in 2023, the Türkiye earthquake in 2023, and Hurricane Ian in the United States in 2022.
