Sleek and sophisticated, every line and detail of the IONIQ 6 has been enhanced to make the design simpler and even more progressive. Building on the award-winning spirit of the original launched in 2022 – the redesigned IONIQ 6 features more refined curves and sharper proportions.

Shark-nose front

The first thing that catches the eye in the front is the sleeker shark-nose design – with the hood diving into the slim Daytime Running Lights – which now feature four thin lines of Parametric Pixel LEDs.

Front bumper and headlamps

The front bumper has been reshaped with sharp muscular lines and now holds the main Matrix LED headlamps. The sculpted chrome lower bumper line underlines the strong proportions of the IONIQ 6.

Sharper and more refined silhouette

The eye is instantly drawn into the sharper, more refined silhouette. The prominent upper rear spoiler has been removed, with the IONIQ 6 now featuring a single extended ducktail spoiler.

Rear bumper

The rear bumper features bold horizontal design elements that create a wide stance, mirroring the front bumper's design with a dynamic chrome accent line.

Slim-line Digital Side Mirrors

Digital Side Mirrors replace the traditional door mirrors with a wide-angle camera and an interior monitor for better visibility and improved aerodynamics.

      Amazing aerodynamics: low drag means high range

      In the EV era, air resistance is more important than any other performance. And the IONIQ 6 features an impressively low 0.21 drag coefficient. Above and beyond its streamlined shape,  the IONIQ 6 features a wide range of advanced aerodynamic solutions including: the rear spoiler, front active air flaps, wheel air curtains, wheel gap reducers, separation traps and wheel deflectors.

      The streamliner profile has been sharpened even further with a elevated hood and extended shape. The aerodynamically sculpted silhouette is designed to thrill – and deliver optimum range.

      Sharper and smoother tail

      The IONIQ 6 features a smoother, more refined silhouette with the removal of the prominent upper spoiler of the 1st generation. The ducktail spoiler has been extended to maintain aerodynamic performance.
