Exterior and interior V2L charging

Thanks to the converter that plugs into the bidirectional exterior charging port, you can power devices up to 3.6 kW even when the vehicle is turned off.

Keep everybody happy. Both driver and front passenger can set their preferred temperatures individually. The control functions are now centralised in the lower touchpad for easier and more intuitive use.

Smart Regenerative System 3.0 (SRS)

The IONIQ 6 features the Smart Regenerative System 3.0 to enhance your driving convenience. It automatically adjusts regenerative braking based on navigation data and distance to vehicles ahead.

Start button

Simply press the start button and the IONIQ 6 is drive ready. If you want to run the air-conditioning or watch a movie while charging, Utility Mode can be switched on via the infotainment screen.

Fold flat rear seats

IONIQ 6 also gives you the flexibility to load bulky cargo and packages. The spilt rear seats fold down 60/40 for longer items. Fold down both sides for 2054 litres of cargo space.

Level 2 autonomous driving

Highway Driving Assist 2 is Level 2 autonomous driving, which controls speed and distance and assists you when changing lanes. Hand-Off Detection offers more precise recognition of driver’s activity to keep HDA active.

Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA2)

IONIQ 6 can park itself in several scenarios such as parallel, diagonal and perpendicular parking as well as back into and drive forward out of a parking spot – with you standing outside of the car.

Hyundai SmartSense 2

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist: Hyundai IONIQ 6 warns of a potential collision at an intersection and initiates avoidance support.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2 (FCA 2)

Warns if the preceding vehicle suddenly slows down or if a risk of collision with a vehicle, a pedestrian, or a cyclist is detected – and can also apply the brakes automatically. 

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist: Hyundai IONIQ 6 detects vehicles in adjacent lanes and alerts before a lane change.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)

Using side and rear radar sensors, the system warns you of traffic in the blind spot area. Should you set the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alert and brake to prevent collision. 

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist: Hyundai IONIQ 6 brakes while reversing as sensors detect an approaching vehicle.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

When reversing out of areas with low visibility, the system not only warns you if vehicles approach from the side – it also applies the brakes automatically. 

Highway Driving Assist: Hyundai IONIQ 6 maintains a safe distance and lane position on highways by monitoring surrounding traffic and assisting with speed and steering control.

Highway Driving Assist 2 w/hand-off detection (HDA 2)

With Highway Driving Assist 2, IONIQ 6 provides Level 2 autonomous driving, controlling speed and distance and assisting you when changing lanes. The new Hand-Off Detection function offers more precise recognition of driver’s activities to keep HDA activated.

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control: Hyundai IONIQ 6 adjusts speed using forward sensors while driving on a multi-lane road.

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC)

Utilises the state-of-the-art navigation system to anticipate upcoming curves or straights on highways and adjusts speed for safer driving.

Remote Smart Parking Assist 2: Hyundai IONIQ 6 parks itself into a marked space via remote control while a pedestrian stands nearby.

Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA2)

Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA Side/FR/R)

Perfect for parking garages. If an obstacle is detected via the rear-view camera or rear radar sensors, PCA will display a warning and, if necessary, apply the brakes.

Rear Occupant Alert Radar (ROA)

Ultrasonic sensors monitor the rear seats: When the driver exits the vehicle, an in-dash message pops up. If it detects movement after exiting and locking the car, it will honk the horn and flash the emergency lights.
