SEOUL, June 3, 2026 – Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) is sponsoring cultural and artistic festivals held in both Korea and France this year to celebrate the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
As part of this initiative, the Group will take the lead in cultural and artistic exchanges by sponsoring:
By supporting these diverse cultural and artistic programs in Korea and France, the Group aims to help deepen historic bilateral ties while utilizing the universal language of art to foster deeper, more meaningful connections with its global audience.
The Classical Bridge International Music Festival, a representative international classical festival linking Korea and France, has established a special connection with France by being held in major cities across both countries, including Seoul, Paris and Bordeaux.
This year’s festival in Seoul will feature numerous leading performers from the French classical music scene and French-based artists. To commemorate the 140th anniversary of Korea-France diplomatic relations and reflect the spirit of cultural exchange, Korean artists will also perform, further expanding musical dialogue between the two nations.
As the event’s official mobility sponsor, Hyundai Motor will provide the following support:

Celebrating its 80th edition this year, the world-renowned Festival d’Avignon — one of the world’s largest comprehensive performing arts festival boasting rich traditions — is a landmark event showcasing diverse genres, including theater, dance, music and performance art.
This year’s festival has selected Korean as the official guest language — a historic first for an Asian language. Nine Korean performing arts pieces have been invited to the festival.
