Hyundai Motor Group Invites Global Tech Talent to Tech Talent Forum 2026 in Pursuit of Physical AI Innovation
SILICON VALLEY, September 10, 2026 – Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) will host the HMG Tech Talent Forum in Silicon Valley from September 17–18 to attract leading tech professionals as it expands into innovative sectors including Physical AI and robotics.
The event will be hosted by nine Group affiliates and partners, including: Hyundai Motor Company, Hyundai Motor America (HMA), Kia Corporation, Kia America, Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI), Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), Boston Dynamics, Motional, and 42dot.
Held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, the HMG Tech Talent Forum highlights the Group's technology vision and global talent strategy. Through keynote speeches, leadership discussions, real-world project showcases, interactive exhibitions and career consultations, tech professionals will gain first-hand experience of the Group's technological competitiveness and diverse growth opportunities.
The Forum's featured sessions include keynote speeches and a Leaders Panel Talk, bringing together senior executives and technology leaders from across the Group and its affiliates to share insights on innovation, future mobility and talent development.

Leaders Panel Talk
The Leaders Panel Talk will bring together the Group’s technology leaders including: Manfred Harrer; Minwoo Park; ChangHwan Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Electrification Energy Solutions Tech Unit of Hyundai Motor Group; Zack Jackowski, Chief Product and Technology Officer of Boston Dynamics; Phil Michel, Senior Vice President of Autonomy & AI of Motional; and Alpesh Patel, Vice President and Head of SDF Transformation Center of Hyundai Motor Group; to discuss the future direction of the technology industry and the Group’s ability to turn innovation into reality. The session will conclude with a live Q&A.
