The progressive exterior design, with its futuristic shapes and sharp angles, was inspired by Hyundai’s Vision T SUV concept. The new TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid inherits the essence of the current model's award-winning design language, evolving it with a more refined aesthetic.

Exterior

The look.

Powerful new design elements harmonise with dynamic geometric forms and the redesigned Parametric Hidden Lights to make the TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid a unique, eye-catching presence on the road.
  1. The Hyundai TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid in a dynamic view of front and side.

    Front.

    The boldly redesigned radiator grille features a dynamic interplay of thin, angular lines and the bumper and skid plates now extend seamlessly from side to side, creating a visually wider stance.
  2. The Hyundai TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid seen from the front with LED highlights.

    Unique LED daytime running lights.

    The unique Parametric Hidden Lights have been redesigned as well – with new laser cutting technology giving the LED daytime running lights a brighter and more upscale look.

    The larger rear skid plate is integrated into the bumper moulding, reinforcing the impression of its wide stance. The sleek form seamlessly echoes the front, conveying a sense of stability.

    Choose from a range of redesigned alloy wheels that further accentuate the unique look of this head-turning SUV.

      The dynamically sweeping LED tail lamps feature parametric hidden light details that continue the dynamic light signature in the rear.

    2. The hatchback with the Hyundai logo at the back of the Hyundai TUCSON Plug-in.

      High-tech glass logo.

      The hatchback is crowned by a smooth glass Hyundai logo, which is now seamlessly integrated into the rear window, in a departure from traditional car emblems.

    3. The rear wiper blade of the Hyundai TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid. 

      Better rear visibility.

      Enjoy better visibility when you need it most. The rear wiper blade length has been increased to 350 mm, so you can enjoy a clear view through a wider area when driving in the rain and snow.

        The new dashboard, with its horizontal flow and open storage tray, exudes a harmonious blend of function and style – flowing gracefully into the door trim to increase the sense of roominess.

        Perfectly positioned for maximum comfort while driving, the new armrest also gives you ideal access to the wireless charging pad and cup holders in the revamped centre console.
