Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) is the first global open innovation center of Hyundai Motor Group, providing diverse experiences to realize an eco-conscious and innovative vision.

The Discovery Tour consists of these segments:

1. Introduction to HMGICS
2. Smart Farms - Enhancing food security and self-sustainability
3. Tasting Session - Savour a selection of freshly harvested greens
4. Factory VR Tour - Learn about highly modular and automated production to meet diverse needs
5. Skytrack Experience - Enjoy a thrilling ride with a vast view of the skies
6. IONIQ Lounge - Purchase IONIQ related merchandise or customize your own IONIQ vehicle.

Things to note

  • Arrival
    Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration. If you're unable to attend, we’d appreciate it if you could modify or cancel your booking to free up the slot for others.
  • Restrictions
    For safety reasons, participants who are unwell or young children are advised not to take part in the VR factory tour due to the highly immersive nature of VR environment. Passengers need to be of a height of at least 100cm in order to take part in this experience, and passengers below 135cm are required to use a booster seat.
  • Skytrack
    Passengers need to be of a height of at least 100cm in order to take part in this experience, and passengers below 135cm are required to use a booster seat.

We are open on Tuesdays to Sundays, from 10am to 7pm. 

Please note that special hours may apply on Public Holidays - stay updated by checking our website and social media channels.


Each Discovery Tour lasts aproximately 90 minutes. 

You may book your complimentary tour here.
Each booking allows up to 6 participants. Tour slots are released 30 days in advance.

In order to provide the best experience for all visitors to our center, some activities have a maximum number of participants. We encourage members of the public to make reservations for these activities in order to avoid any disappointment on the day of their visit. Please note that reservations for the Discovery Tour, Na Oh restaurant, and Kids Workshop are separate.

Once your booking is confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox. You can modify or cancel your reservation at any time using the link provided in that email. 

The Discovery Tour is currently free of charge for public bookings.

For corporate tours, each tour costs $300 per tour.

As for the Kids Workshop: Smart Food Lab, tickets are chargeable at $15 per child.

For the Kids Workshop: SPOT Robot Coding Workshop, tickets are chargeable at $25 per child.


Note: All proceeds are donated to President's Challenge.

Yes, you may book a private tour for up to 18 participants at a fee of $300 per tour. Please note that the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, even in the event of cancellation. All proceeds will be donated to the President’s Challenge.

While most experiences are family-friendly, we have a few guidelines in place to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort:

   • Factory VR Tour: Due to the immersive nature of this segment, visitors who are unwell or very young children are advised to sit out.

   • Skytrack Experience: This activity is open to participants who are at least 100 cm. For participants below 135 cm, they will be required to use a booster seat.


Bringing along young ones? Our Kids workhop offers a variety of fun, hands-on activities designed for children.

For safety reasons, the Skytrack Experience will be suspended in the event of rain or if the track is not completely dry.

While our vegetables are not available for purchase, visitors will have the opportunity to take home freshly harvested vegetables through the Level 1 harvesting experience.

In addition to the harvesting experience, the vegetables are also used at the Na Oh restaurant (Level 3), the Cafeteria (Level 5), with surplus produce donated to charitable organizations. 

Yes, outdoor parking is available. Parking charges apply.

Yes, all areas of the center are accessible to wheelchairs and other personal mobility devices.

No, we do not provide chartered bus service. However, if you plan to visit us by chartered bus, please let us know in advance at visitus@hmgics.com for security clearance. 

No, pets are not allowed within our premises.

There is no strict dress code for visitors. However, if you plan to test drive a vehicle, we recommend wearing covered shoes for comfort and safety.

Visitors can enjoy meals at the Cafeteria (Level 5) or at Na Oh restaurant (Level 3) led by three-Michelin-star Chef Corey Lee.

• Na Oh Restaurant (Level 3)

Offering an inclusive and accessible approach to quality Korean cuisine, guests can enjoy a four-course prix fixe menu. There is also an option to

experience jinjitsang -- a traditional Korean meal setting featuring a variety of accompaniments.

• Cafeteria (Level 5)

Open on weekdays from 8am to 5pm, with a lunch menu available from 12.30pm to 2pm.

Notice

We will be closed from 21 December 2025 to 5 January 2026 for scheduled maintenance.


Discovery Tours will resume on 6 January 2026, with Smart Farm experiences (such as harvesting and tasting) resuming progressively in February as we begin a new crop cycle.
