Hyundai’s iLoad delivers another award
Hyundai’s award winning and highly acclaimed iLoad van range continues to impress having received the 2010 ‘People’s Choice Award’ in the Light Commercial Van category.
Sales results show Hyundai’s iLoad is a popular choice in the Australian van segment, having achieved a November YTD 2010 sales increase of 63% over the same period in 2009 and a segment share of 25.9% November YTD 2010 v. 15.2% November YTD 2009.
Launched in early 2008, the iLoad range has connected with buyers by offering an outstanding combination of practicality, reliability, and versatility. Coupled with low cost of ownership, a 4-star ANCAP safety rating and a five-year / 130,000 km warranty, iLoad is simply hard to beat.
iLoad’s cavernous cargo space can take loads of up to two pallets with ease in the 4.3 cubic metre capacity, while offering seating for either three or six passengers. The powerful 2.5-litre CRDi turbo-diesel or 2.4-litre CVVT petrol engines provide excellent fuel economy. Clever design features include standard twin sliding doors to reduce reach for easy load and unload, and a large lift tailgate provides a sheltered workspace. The People’s Choice Awards (PCA), based on new car customer enquiries, are an important measure of the strength of automotive brands and their individual models in the new car marketplace.
The carsales network operates a national network of online sites, including and Consumers using any of these sites for new car enquiry were able to vote for their favourite vehicles across 15 categories, the cars with the highest number of genuine sales enquiries in each category top the list.
Votes for the People’s Choice Awards were collected from the Carsales Network websites between 1 November, 2009 and 31 October, 2010.
