Road Safet y Awareness Rally

To promote awareness across the vehicle users on Road Safety in Chennai City HMIF planned to conduct a Rally with the help of School children.13,000 school Children of various schools participated on fixing Black stickers (Bulls eye) on 100,000 head lights of vehicles at 250 Road Junctions of Chennai. They carried Banners and Placard on Road Safety and distributed information on safe driving practices A Cycle rally was conducted with 100 school children traveling a stretch of 11 km in Chennai city. There were 900 banners and 4800 placards used in this big rally and the entire city had the privilege of Road Safety campaign. Such Road Safety activities will also be conducted in the year 2010 to educate the general public on Road Safety.
