As one of the first Australians to own the all-new IONIQ 5 N, your vehicle will be customised and built exclusively for you. Changes to your configuration are possible, but may impact your expected delivery date[D10].
If you're one of the first 700 people to secure our most powerful, all-electric Hyundai ever, you can expect to receive your vehicle within 3 to 12 months [D1]. Later orders could have a delivery period of 12 months or more. While you wait, you'll receive email updates on the order status and expected arrival date of your IONIQ 5 N.

[D1] Completing all steps in this application may reserve your position in the queue to order an IONIQ 5 N vehicle, but is not an order to purchase. IONIQ 5 N stock may at times be limited, and will be allocated to customers on a first-come-first-serve basis. However, we may also take into account the following factors (assessed in our absolute discretion) to determine which applications result in a successful vehicle order:

  • A customer’s proximity to a Hyundai delivery or service location; and or
  • whether the customer is a first time buyer of the IONIQ 5 N; and or
  • whether there is already an IONIQ 5 N vehicle in the customer’s household.

We reserve the right to cancel any application where we determine that a customer cannot order a vehicle based on the above factors. The average wait time for delivery will depend on whether your new car is available in stock or requires a factory order. Wait times of 3 – 12 months for delivery may apply if your car is not in stock. We will be able to give you an estimated delivery time when you place a deposit, and this will be set out in your contract of sale. Vehicles must be registered and delivered in the same state or territory specified in the customer’s original application. For more information, contact us on 1800 186 306.

[D8]Paying a deposit reserves your place in the queue to purchase an IONIQ 5 N and is not an order to purchase. Stock availability is not guaranteed. If stock is confirmed, customers will be notified in writing and are required to enter a contract of sale within 28 days of that notification, at which time legal obligations arise and the deposit will be applied against the purchase price. If the customer does not enter into a contract (signing and returning the contract to us within 28 days of notification), we are entitled to cancel the order and the contract is withdrawn and not enforceable. The deposit is fully refundable for any reason up until a contract of sale is entered. A deposit is not transferrable under any circumstances.

[D10] While we will try to accommodate your requests, please note that any changes to your details, (including but not limited to delivery location or preferred vehicle configuration) that are made between paying your deposit and entering a contract of sale to purchase the vehicle, may result in you losing your place in the queue to purchase an IONIQ 5 N and result in a later delivery date as we cannot guarantee your reconfigured vehicle will be available in the same timeframe. Please notify us as soon as possible of any such changes.

[C1] Charging time may increase if peak charging rates are not achieved. The purchase of a home charging station does not include the cost of installation. Installation of a home charging station is at additional cost and should be conducted by a qualified and experienced electrician.

[C2]Only use the charging cable that is suitable for your electric vehicle. The manufacturer takes no responsibility for defects associated with a faulty charging unit or vehicle.
