Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) – City/Urban/Interurban/Pedestrian

When the car ahead is too close for comfort, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist utilises the windshield-mounted camera to detect the car's proximity. It can also detect pedestrians that are travelling in front and can automatically apply the vehicle’s brakes in the case of a potential collision.

Radar sensors on the rear bumper can alert you to vehicles next to and diagonally behind you, in case you haven’t already noticed them.

At speeds of 60 km/h or above, if your Venue notices that it’s straying out of its lane without its indicators being activated, an audible and visual alert will be triggered.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW)

Keeps an eye out for vehicles approaching from either side of you when you’re reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. If it detects them, audible and visual warnings will activate.

High Beam Assist (HBA)

Scans the road ahead for approaching headlights, then can automatically adjust your headlamp range, switching between high and low beam as appropriate.

SOS button[P1] and automatic collision notification

If you’re in an accident or need medical assistance, simply press the SOS button[P1] and the vehicle can alert responders who will direct emergency services to your location. If the air bags are deployed in an accident, the vehicle itself can trigger an automatic collision notification and call emergency responders for you.
Only available on Elite model.
