Our 1.0L petrol turbo engine produces 172Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm, combining dynamism and efficiency. This means that you can enjoy responsive acceleration and plenty of overtaking power, even at low speeds. And because it's so efficient, you'll also enjoy excellent fuel economy and low emissions.

Bluelink Connected Car Services.

Hyundai's Bluelink® is a Connected Car System that uses embedded telematics to provide advanced Hyundai Live Services such as Live Traffic and On/Off Street Parking. With the Bluelink® app, you can remotely lock and unlock your i20 and locate it even if you don't recall where you parked it. The app also sends you an alert in case of an attempted break-in. Additionally, you can check your tyre pressure using the app.

Connected Routing.

Connected routing means that the route is no longer calculated by the processor inside the navigation device but by a powerful server inside the Hyundai cloud. For more accurate traffic forecasting, more precise times of arrival, and more reliable route recalculations.

Last Mile Guidance.

You might have to park your i20 somewhere before you reach your actual destination. If you are within 200 m - 1.2 miles, you can hand over navigation from the car to the Bluelink app. With augmented reality, your phone will then guide you exactly where you want to go.

With Hyundai Smart Sense, our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, i20 offers the most comprehensive active safety technology packages in its class – built to provide you with more safety and peace of mind. Many of the features available would not be expected to be found in cars of this segment.

  1. Lane Following Assist (LFA).

    For the first time, the i20 features Lane Following Assist (LFA). When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane on motorways and city streets.

  2. Blind-Spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA).

    Using radar sensors in the lower rear bumper and front camera, the system warns you of traffic in the blind spot area. Should you set the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alert and brake to prevent collision.

  3. Forward Collision-avoidance Assist (FCA).

    Sensing the road ahead with radar and a camera, the FCA system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead, or pedestrians and bicycles on the road.

  4. Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC).

    Utilises the state-of-the-art navigation system to anticipate upcoming curves or straights on highways and adjusts speed for safer driving.

  5. Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA).

    Audio and visual cues appear when the speed limit is exceeded. Combined with Manual Speed Limiter, ISLA can adjust the car speed automatically.

Rear Occupant Alert (ROA).

Detects if a rear door was opened or shut before the car was started, then reminds the driver to check the seats upon exiting the vehicle.

This clever feature for city driving alerts the driver when the vehicle in front departs from an idle state, like at a stoplight or in a traffic jam.
