2025: A Year of Heart, Hope and
Helping Kids.

Back to articles
If you measured 2025 not in days or months, but in moments of joy and shared triumphs, it would be the biggest year in our history. Hyundai Help for Kids has one simple goal: to Do Big Things for Kids and in 2025, thanks to the support of Hyundai owners, we took that mission further than ever before, reaching deep into regional Australia and bringing our partners together to change lives. From the red dust of the outback to the quiet care of newborn hospital units, here is how we helped in 2025.

$15 Million: A Milestone Made by You.

The biggest number of the year tells a very human story. Every time a new Hyundai is sold in Australia, Hyundai Dealers and Hyundai Australia each make a contribution towards our Hyundai Help for Kids program. In July 2025, those contributions reached the proud milestone of $15 million raised since we started in 2014.

This isn’t just a number on a page. To a family in need, that money means a flight to a city hospital, life-changing cancer research or a warm, home-cooked meal for a tired parent. To every Hyundai buyer, thank you - you made this happen.

Leading with Purpose.

For more than a decade, Hyundai Help for Kids has been at the forefront of supporting a range of charities that help Aussie Kids. For the first time, we brought together the Chief Executive Officers from key charity partners to share the stage at a special event. Moderated by Stephanie Brantz, the panel featured Clare Pearson (CEO of Little Wings), Emma Pollard (CEO of Clown Doctors Australia) and Kristina Keneally (CEO of Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation).  They shared stories from the frontlines: the challenge of getting sick kids from remote regional areas to city hospitals and why laughter, play and conection from a Clown Doctor can be just as important as a check-up. It reminded us that we aren't just donors; we are partners in a huge team of people who care.

Healing, Helping and Heart

Sometimes, the most important help happens behind the scenes.

  • Our smallest Aussies: We visited newborn intensive care units in Wollongong and Newcastle hospitals to support the NurtureTime Volunteers program with Miracle Babies Foundation.
  • Meals from the Heart: Our teams spent hours in kitchens across Australia with Ronald McDonald House Charities, preparing meals for parents whose world has been turned upside down by a child’s illness. It’s about more than food; it’s about giving a family a moment of ‘normal’ in a difficult time.

The Magic of Sport

Sport has a special way of making kids feel like stars.

  • iView: For 10 seasons now, we’ve hosted families at the Gabba watching the Brisbane Lions in a specially devoted suite. The Hyundai-designated match day last year saw kids invited to walk onto the field, run through the team banner, toss the coin and watch the game from our jungle-themed suite. For a child and their parents who have been through such tough times, our iView events create memories that last a lifetime.
  • Inclusion in Action: We saw the true power of sport at Football Futures Foundation’s Inclusive Football Festival. We donated $100 for every goal scored, raising $10,000 for kids with disabilities and multicultural youth programs.
  • Weekend of Wonder: In similar vein to iView, our special Weekend of Wonder in WA saw the kids and their families from Assistance Dogs Australia enjoy a magical match day experience at Optus Stadium where we hosted ‘Kicking Goals for Kids’ and donated $500 for every Carlton goal. Watch the video summary of this wonderful weekend here: Weekend of Wonder in WA.

Wheels in Motion

We know that for families in regional Australia, getting to medical support is often the hardest part.

  • Little Wings: Our Hyundai vehicles clocked up record kilometres this year, providing free ground transport and flights for country families.
  • Wheels from the Heart: We officially launched a program with Ronald McDonald House Charities to give their fleet of cars ‘personalities.’ Cars like 'Lightning Jack' and 'Henrietta' are now the workhorses for school runs and grocery trips for families staying at the houses. Watch the launch day and overview view here: Wheels from the Heart .
  • Clown Doctors on Tour: We mobilised the Clown Doctors through Northern NSW, bringing laughter to hospitals in Maitland, Armidale, Taree and Tamworth. Watch the video summary of this wonderful tour here: Clown Doctors on Tour - 2025.

Volunteering nourishes the soul

Hyundai Help for Kids saw a record number of hours devoted to volunteering in 2025 for our family of beneficiaries and associated events.

  • 203 unique volunteers
  • 42 different ‘Hyundai teams’ volunteered their time to support 39 partner initiatives
  • A total of 1,109 hours was devoted to volunteering efforts.
  • Collectively, this worked out to:
  • 138+ working days
  • 27+ working weeks

A Season of Giving

To wrap up the year, our ‘Hyundai Elves’ were very busy:

  • Trees of Joy: We built a custom-themed Christmas tree for a very special Make-A-Wish Australia child, decorated with all their favourite things.
  • The Big Wrap: Our staff donated hundreds of toys and spent a day at Little Wings wrapping gifts for families to open on Christmas morning.
  • Wings for Santa: We helped a brave boy named Beau and his mum Shea have a Christmas they’ll never forget, with a surprise visit from Santa via a Little Wings flight. Watch the heartwarming video here: Santa's Wings for Beau .

Ever helped thousands of Aussie kids, without doing a thing?

It’s true. Just by choosing a Hyundai, you are helping us fund flights, research and support for families across the country. To every Hyundai owner: you are the engine of this initiative. Every time you drive your car, you are driving change. Thank you for a magnificent 2025 and looking forward to continuing to do Big Things for Kids.
