The race cars. Performance engineered.

Hyundai Motorsport utilises its global engineering expertise and cutting-edge technologies in the pursuit of victory. Every Hyundai race car is purpose built by a team of experts, then track-tested by its fastest drivers before proven in battle on rally roads and race circuits across the globe.

i20 N Rally1 (WRC)

The Hyundai i20 N Rally1 is built to withstand the most demanding conditions, powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged hybrid engine that produces around 280kW of power and drives an advanced all-wheel drive transmission through a six-speed sequential manual transmission.

The i20 N Rally1 can accelerate from 0-100km/h in less than four seconds – even on dirt roads.

While based on the road-going i20 N, the Rally1 machine features wider wheel tracks, specialised long-travel suspension and has unique aerodynamic bodywork generating downforce for added grip at high speeds.

Inside the two-seater cabin, the driver and co-driver are enveloped by a high strength roll cage with purpose-built race seats and harnesses.

i30 Sedan N TCR (Elantra N
TCR)

The i30 Sedan N TCR is directly related to the road-going model. Built by Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing at Alzenau in Germany, it is powered by an upgraded version of the production-spec 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces around 260 kW of power.

Like the road car, it drives the front wheels only but features a motorsport-specific six-speed sequential manual transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters, extended body work, fully adjustable suspension and 10-inch-wide lightweight alloy wheels as well as unique aerodynamic devices providing additional downforce.

The cabin features just a single seat for the driver, as well as a high strength roll cage and safety components.

The Competitions: Where we race.

Hyundai Motorsport competes at the pinnacle of two demanding arenas, the World Rally Championship (WRC) and Touring Car Racing (TCR). Both disciplines push our cars, drivers, teams and technologies to the limit while building a passionate fanbase of loyal enthusiasts.

World Rally Championship (WRC)

The World Rally Championship provides the most extreme challenges, from the frozen forest tracks of Sweden to the punishing heat and rough roads of Kenya, at night on icy mountain hairpins in the Mediterranean Alps above Monte Carlo to rocky gravel tracks under the shadow of ancient gods in Greece and flying over jumps at warp speed between pine trees in Finland.

These and many more over the 14 rounds that make up the championship, deliver the ultimate test for the Hyundai i20 N Rally 1 hybrid, our drivers and crews.

World Rally Championship (WRC)

Touring Car Racing (TCR)

Touring car racing is a far more conventional form of motorsport where the field of drivers compete head-to-head against each other on a closed circuit.

In TCR competition, this is divided into the TCR World Tour and a host of regional and domestic championships across the globe, including Australia, that are run under the same regulations.

Touring Car Racing (TCR)

Winning is in our DNA.

Each victory in Hyundai Motorsport’s track record is a testament to the teamwork, engineering, durability and passion that fuels Hyundai’s competitive philosophy.
